Keeping Your Dog’s Paws and Ears in Top Shape
Regular nail trims and ear cleanings are essential for your dog’s comfort and health. Overgrown nails can cause discomfort, affect mobility, and even lead to joint issues over time. For most dogs, a trim every 2–4 weeks helps keep their paws in great shape.
Ear cleaning is just as important, especially for dogs prone to wax buildup or infections, which is common in droopy-eared breeds or those with a lot of hair in and around their ears. While the ideal frequency varies by breed and activity level, checking ears weekly and scheduling a professional cleaning every few weeks can help prevent irritation and infections.
At Luckydog, we offer both nail trims and ear cleanings as standalone services or as part of a grooming appointment. Our state-of-the-art bathing and quiet cutting rooms create a more relaxing, low-stress experience for your pup, making these essential care services as comfortable as possible. We’re happy to set up a recurring schedule with our groomers to keep your pup looking and feeling their best—just reach out to us at bark@luckydogcare.com!

Dog of the Month: Violet B.
Meet Violet B., our April Dog of the Month! This 3-year-old standard poodle is the definition of speed and style, whether she’s sprinting after toys on Private Park Adventures, leading the charge in a game of chase at daycare, or zipping through agility courses in enrichment. With her graceful stride and endless enthusiasm, Violet turns every activity into a high-speed adventure. She’s also a total social butterfly! Her best buddies are Milo G., Zoey T., and Remmy L., but she’s the kind of pup who makes friends with everyone she meets!
Since joining Luckydog in 2023, we’ve loved watching Violet grow into the fun and spunky young lady she is today. We can’t wait for more adventures with this speedy superstar!

Join Us at Bark in the Park!
We’re proud to be participating in Greenhill Humane Society’s 32nd Annual Bark in the Park on Sunday, May 18th at Alton Baker Park in Eugene! As a vendor and longtime supporter of Greenhill, we’re whipping up something extra fun for our booth this year—be sure to stop by and check it out!
