We’ve got a month packed with fun events and exciting updates, including our annual Halloween Costume Contest, a special fundraiser for Greenhill Humane Society, and plenty of ways to treat your pup with grooming services and seasonal snacks. Plus, we’re gearing up to launch our new booking system, Goose, on October 15th. We’re thrilled to kick off a special fundraiser for Greenhill Humane Society, and we’d love your help! For every $10 donation, you’ll snag a raffle entry for a chance to win an amazing prize pack valued at $100. Feeling extra generous? For the first 10 donations of $20 or more, we’ll treat your pup to a freebie Boredom Buster enrichment toy!

Our Annual Halloween Costume Contest is Live! 🎃
It’s time for our spook-tacular annual Halloween Costume Contest! We've seen some amazing entries in the past, like ferocious lions, adorable Beanie Babies, and last year’s reigning champion, Winnie, dressed as a kissing booth (photo included!). What creative costumes will we see this year?
To enter, simply upload your photo here by October 30th at 6 PM. Voting is open to everyone, so even if you don't enter, you can still cast your vote for the most paw-some costume!

Keep Your Pup Looking Fresh with Recurring Grooming Appointments! 🐾
At Luckydog, we believe regular grooming is key to your dog’s health and happiness. We’ve recently expanded our grooming area and currently have limited openings available for spa treatments. Now is the perfect time to lock in recurring appointments to ensure your pup always looks and feels their best!
Due to high demand, these spots will fill quickly. Ready to get started? Simply fill out our grooming request form, and our team will reach out on a first-come, first-served basis to schedule your pup’s next pampering session.
New Booking Engine Launch on October 15th!
We’re thrilled to announce that we’re upgrading Luckydog’s operational software to provide a better booking experience for you! To help ensure a smooth transition, we need your assistance with two quick tasks:
Before October 15th, please log in to your profile and:
- Confirm your email address
- Simplify your dog's name by making sure only their first name is listed under "Dog's Name" in their profile
These simple actions are important to ensure accurate data migration into our new system. Please complete them at your earliest convenience. Click here for detailed instructions on how to complete these tasks.
Additionally, keep an eye on your email and make sure push notifications are enabled in our app. Over the next two weeks, we’ll be sharing more information about the new system and its exciting features. We’re confident these updates will dramatically improve your Luckydog booking experience!
Joci Ruf - An 8 Year Journey of Love and Reflection
The last 8 years have been a remarkable journey. I've exchanged hellos and handshakes that have now evolved into smiles and hugs. I am immensely grateful for the incredible pet parents who have entrusted us with their furry friends, many of whom have become more than clients—they are part of the Luckydog family. I’ve had the privilege of watching countless dogs grow and thrive under our care, coming out of their shells and making new friends.
I’m extremely proud of the evolution of our team. Watching them grow in confidence, knowledge, and passion has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this journey. Every member of our team plays an integral role in creating the nurturing, positive environment that has helped shape what Luckydog is today.
From the smallest accomplishments to the significant milestones, it has been nothing short of inspiring to witness the growth in both the dogs we care for and the people who care for them.
Reflecting on all we've accomplished, I can’t help but feel immense pride for what Luckydog has become. The support and love from our clients continue to fuel our mission, and I can’t wait to experience what the following years will bring!
Dog of the Month: Sophie S. 🎀
Meet Sophie S., the joyful Goldendoodle who has captured the hearts of everyone at Luckydog! Described as bouncy, smiley, and cuddly, Sophie is a frequent participant in our swim sessions, Private Park Adventures, Enrichment Club, grooming, and lodging.
She loves playing in the hose, showing off her tricks (staff favorites include 'smile' and 'sit pretty'), and jumping through hula-hoops. Sophie always impresses us with her cleverness and energy, and we love seeing her shine in all her activities!
Sophie’s best furry friends include Zion M., Charlie B., and Teddy R., who all join her in making each day at Luckydog even more fun and adventurous. We can't wait to see what more she'll show us in October!
