Dog of the Month: Sunny D.
Meet Sunny D., a golden retriever who has been brightening our days at Luckydog since 2020! A proud graduate of our Puppy Preschool, Sunny has grown into an enrichment enthusiast who thrives on learning and playtime.
Sunny is truly everybody’s best friend, winning hearts wherever she goes with her joyful energy and love for play. Her closest friends, Rio V., Piper S., and Mila C., can often be found by her side as she dives into games and activities with boundless enthusiasm. Whether it’s romping in the yard or showing off her smarts, Sunny is always ready to make the most of every moment.
Sunny’s latest adventure is participating in the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Training Professional program as a training partner alongside our very own Jill. Her confidence, brightness, and eagerness to learn make her the perfect partner for this exciting endeavor.
We’re so proud to have Sunny as part of our Luckydog family and can’t wait to see her shine in 2025!
Lucy M. Excels in Agility and Rally
We’re thrilled to share another round of exciting news about Lucy M., the talented Border Collie mix who continues to amaze us with her dedication and accomplishments.
This November, Lucy earned her first qualifying score in agility and secured 1st place in her novice class at the Emerald Empire Shetland Sheepdog Club agility trial in Eugene. Not stopping there, Lucy also took home 1st place in both of her rally classes at the Greater Clark County Kennel Club obedience trial in Ridgefield, WA, earning her Rally Novice title!
